Every November, Pack 22 coordinates a food drive to collect food for KACS (Kennett Area Community Services). Our efforts typically yield well over 1,000 lbs of food donations for KACS! In addition to the benefit of the food donations collected, the activity teaches our Cub Scouts an invaluable lesson in community service.
Each Cub Scout Den selects a neighborhood and their work takes place on two consecutive Saturday’s. On the first Saturday we drop flyers with instructions for residents wishing to participate/donate. On the second Saturday, we return to retrieve all the generous donations left out by residents.
For the most recent listing of items most needed by KACS, please visit the Food Donation section of their website (https://kacsimpact.org/support/#FoodDonation). All food donations are distributed through the Food Cupboard, Little Free Pantries, and KACS on Wheels.
Thank you for your generous support!
